JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Renovations to the TVA Credit Union baseball stadium in the 2022 season will kick off with a new scoreboard.

Park officials revealed that a new left-field LED video board, measuring 30 feet wide and 16 feet high, will replace the old board.

Park officials added that the new council will have several features.

“That’s something I’ve learned from previous experience with video cards,” said park assistant general manager Patrick Ennis. “Fans love seeing themselves on the video board. We’re going to have a traveling camera. He will be able to show them on the video board and involve them in the game.”

The Johnson City Doughboys, Tri-Cities Otter Soccer Club and Science Hill Baseball Team will have the opportunity to enjoy the new exhibit.

The Doughboys kick off the 2022 on June 2 with a game against the Elizabethton River Riders.
