Supporting Our Community Training, a free virtual program hosted by Boulder JCC – Boulder Jewish News

January 11 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. MT, The Boulder JCC will organize a free virtual training with our partners of JResponse, a program of the JCC association. Mark Young and Jenny Schwartz of the JResponse team will share techniques and tools on how to speak effectively and compassionately to community members affected by the fires. Their training will review the fundamentals of providing social and emotional relief to those affected by trauma, using advice and resources from the National Council of Welfare Mental Health First Aid training.
