The Colorado Avalanche dethroned the two-time defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning and won the Stanley Cup on Sunday night. Cale Makar was named the winner of the 2022 Conn Smythe Trophy. Colorado beat Tampa Bay 2-1 on Sunday, taking the Stanley Cup Final four games to two.
