If Renee Zellweger auditioned for the role of stepmom, she’d be sure to get the role after spending a busy day babysitting her boyfriend’s son.

The Oscar-winning actor, 52, was spotted Monday at the Laguna Beach park with the cutest date imaginable, Ant Anstead’s two-year-old son Hudson.

Ant shares Hudson with his ex-wife, Flip or Flip star Christina Haack, whom he divorced in 2021.

Although Renee has no children of her own, it’s clear that she has a natural maternal instinct.

The Judy actress was dressed for playtime in baggy gray pants, a warm black coat and an orange baseball cap.

She didn’t seem to get tired of chasing after her pint-sized pal around the playground and was seen grinning from ear to ear as she pushed Hudson on the swings.

Hudson and Renee got along like two peas in a pod with the actress not only helping her try the monkey bars, but even showing off her own impressive upper body strength by using them herself.

After a wild romp around the playground, Renee set Hudson up at a picnic table for a light snack.

The couple were then seen walking towards their black SUV. Zellweger kept a watchful eye on the toddler as he zipped by his side on his scooter, making sure his helmet was solidly shaped.

Renee has been dating Hudson’s father, 42-year-old Wheelers Dealers host Ant Anstead for several months now.

In November, the Bridget Jones actress rented a five-bedroom mansion in Laguna Beach for $30,000 a month.
