Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month: Rio Rico Long Distance Runner Jorge Trujillo

Rio Rico Senior Cross Country Runner Jorge Trujilloa runner-up last year in the D-III state competition, won first place at the Eye of the Tiger Cross Country Invitational in Marana on Oct. 22 with a personal best 15:21.6.

The performance follows his win at the 30th annual Los Mezquites Invitational cross-country race in September. He finished this course in 17:54, 29 seconds ahead of second.

His continued success, including a personal best at the Eye of the Tiger competition, earns Trujillo the title of Jet Sports Training’s Male Athlete of the Month for October.
