West Valley swept a doubleheader from Wenatchee to Walla Walla Point Park yesterday, winning the first game 11-5 and the nightcap 4-3. Cascade swept a pair of Brewster, winning the first game 16-15 and the second 24 against 2. Okanogan beat Lake Roosevelt in a single match 15-6.
Male soccer Thursday Cashmere went to Omak and walked away with a win 1 to 0. Quincy beat Chelan 5-4. Cascade beat Royal 2-1. Manson beat Oroville 2-1.
Here is what is happening today in the men’s soccer … Brewster visit Bridgeport to 16 h 30; Cascade faces Toppenish in the Apple Bowl at 6 o’clock. Eastmont is in Moses Lake at 7am while Wenatchee visits Eisenhower at 7:15.
A full slate facing our small schools in the region tomorrow, starting at 10am Pateros in Tonasket. Ellensburg welcomes Ephrata at noon. At 12:30, it’s Oroville Omak. Cashmere welcomes Brewster 1 while visiting Chelan Lakeside, Nine Mile Falls and Quincy hosts Clarkston.
Today, the preparatory baseball, Wenatchee plays a doubleheader at West Valley while Moses Lake visit Eisenhower. Pateros went to Moses Lake Christian for two games starting with the first at 4:30.
Coming tomorrow Cascade welcomes Quincy in a doubleheader from 10am. At 11, East Valley of Yakima launches a doubleheader at Ephrata while Cashmere visit Omak.
For small schools tomorrow is in Okanogan Liberty Bell; Lake Roosevelt welcomes Bridgeport; Waterville Mansfield visit Riverside Christian; Brewster welcomes Freeman; Oroville and Tonasket goes. All these games are dual programs.
Coming in softball fast today, Moses Lake hosts Eisenhower for the first of two games to 3 hours.
Tomorrow is Oroville Tonasket; Bridgeport at Lake Roosevelt; Pateros hosts Liberty Bell; The university went to Moses Lake; Eastmont hosts Glacier Peak; and Waterville-Mansfield is home against Soap Lake.
There is a huge track meet tomorrow in Ephrata from 10am. 28 schools will participate in Ephrata Invite.
Meanwhile, the annual relay Ray Cross Wenatchee begins in high school Wenatchee tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock. It includes Cashmere, Eastmont, Kentwood, Lake Stevens, Medical Lake, Moses Lake, North Creek, Snohomish and the Panthers.
