Christmas tree sale supports Riverwood High baseball team

SANDY SPRINGS, GA – The Riverwood International Charter School baseball team announces its annual Christmas tree sale.

The team has been selling Frasier Fir Christmas trees for over two decades in order to raise funds for the team’s operations.

Onsite purchases will not be available this year, but online orders can be taken until November 19 and delivery is available for a small fee.

After placing an order online, customers can select a tree from the tree bundle between November 26 and 29, or allow the team to select a tree for them. Trees can be picked up in Riverwood at 5900 Raider Drive in Sandy Springs, and volunteers will be on hand to help select trees for customer orders, cut freshly cut logs, and load them onto cars or trucks.

“For over 20 years, Riverwood Baseball has sold the finest Christmas trees in Sandy Springs,” said Trey Henson, Riverwood’s baseball coach. “We have many clients who have been with us for all these twenty years. After a difficult year last year, we really look forward to seeing many of these long-standing clients with us again this year.”

All proceeds from the tree sale go to support the public school baseball program which has made the 16 state playoffs and sends graduates to a number of college and Major League baseball teams.
