Chicago White Sox Team Up With Mache For First Official White Sox-Inspired Sneaker Collaboration

CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox have joined forces with famed shoe designer, Dan “Mache” Gamache, to design a limited-edition sneaker and the first of its kind, the White Sox “Mache Runner.”

The “Mache Runner” is set to release in an exclusive event on Wednesday July 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Guaranteed rate field. Registration for the pop-up event is required on as only a limited number of pairs will be available for purchase.

While born in New York, Mache is a lifelong White Sox fan who grew up idolizing franchise legends Bo Jackson, Jack McDowell and Frank Thomas. He has gained national notoriety for his custom designs and one-of-a-kind sneaker collaborations. Over the years, he has become a go-to performer for several iconic brands, including footwear industry leaders, as well as global sports and entertainment organizations like MLB, NBA, NFL and WWE. .

Mache’s design captures the South Side aesthetic and features a “designer design” with stripes to reflect the Sox’s home uniforms, contrasting gray for the away uniforms and black for the South Side alternate uniforms. The sneaker is accented with red baseball stitching on the sides.
