Tickets for the Minnesota Twins’ 2022 spring training season, which includes 17 home games at Hammond Stadium, go on sale to the general public today (November 19, 2021) at 10 a.m. CT / 11 a.m. ET online via twinsbaseball.com, or by calling 612-33-TWINS or 800-33-TWINS.
The Twins expect to return safely at full capacity to Hammond Stadium for spring training 2022. Information regarding the opening hours of the Hammond Stadium ticket office at the Lee County Sports Complex will be announced at a later date.
Twins Spring 2022 Training and Promotion Programs
The Twins’ schedule for the 2022 spring training season – the club’s 32nd at the Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Fla. – includes 33 games in total (17 at home, 16 on the road), with the game of ‘opening at home on a Friday, February 25 exhibition competition against the University of Minnesota. The Twins’ Grapefruit League opener is scheduled for the next day, Saturday, February 26, when they host the Toronto Blue Jays.
Of the Twins’ 16 home games in the Grapefruit League, there will be four games against the Boston Red Sox (March 11, 19, 27 and 28); two games each against the Toronto Blue Jays (February 26 and March 2), the Baltimore Orioles (March 1 and 25), back-to-back American League Eastern Champions, the Tampa Bay Rays (March 4 and 12 ) and 2021 World Series champion Atlanta Braves (March 16-22); and singles matches against the New York Yankees (March 6), Philadelphia Phillies (March 9), Detroit Tigers (March 14) and Pittsburgh Pirates (March 21).
The promotional calendar for Twins 2022 is “Minnesota Day”, organized for the very first time during a night game (March 12); Post-game fireworks on March 25; Special “Senior Day” offers for fans 55 and over, which include a Home Plate View seat, hot dog and Pepsi for just $ 1 more (February 26 and March 1, 4, 16 and 21); and ‘Salute to Service’ games in which veterans, serving members, first responders, police, paramedics, firefighters, healthcare workers and teachers can purchase up to four tickets at half price in The Porch or Home Plate View seating levels (February 26 and March 4, 14, 25 and 28; promotion only available at Hammond Stadium box office with valid ID).
